Terms and Conditions of Purchase

1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and sale of products through changarecords.org. By placing an order for products, you agree to be bound by and accept these Terms. These Terms are subject to change by Changa Records without prior written notice at any time, in our sole discretion.

2. Order Acceptance and Cancellation You agree that your order is an offer to buy, under these Terms, all products listed in your order. All orders must be accepted by us, or we will not be obligated to sell the products to you. We may choose not to accept any orders in our sole discretion. After having received your order, we will send you a confirmation email with your order number and details of the items you have ordered.

3. Prices, Promotions, and Payment Terms

  • Prices: All prices posted on this Site are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.

  • Launch Promotion (10% Discount): During our official page launch phase, products will be offered with a 10% discount. Items purchased with this discount are subject to specific delivery conditions (see Section 4).

  • Taxes and Shipping: Posted prices do not include taxes or charges for shipping and handling. All such taxes and charges will be added to your merchandise total and will be itemized in your shopping cart.

  • Payments: We use third-party payment processors via our Squarespace platform. You represent and warrant that the payment information you supply is true, correct, and complete.

4. Delivery and Festival Pickup Delivery methods depend on when the purchase is made:

  • Launch Phase (Festival Pickup Only): All items purchased during the launch phase with the 10% discount are strictly for in-person pickup at our upcoming festival Changa Records MOP Teaser Portugal. Shipping is not available for these promotional orders.

  • Post-Launch Phase (Standard Shipping): Once the launch discount period ends, standard shipping options will become available for all new purchases. For shipped orders, you will pay all shipping and handling charges specified during the checkout process. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our transfer of the products to the carrier.

5. Returns and Refunds Except for any products explicitly designated on the Site as final sale or non-returnable, we will accept a return of the products for a refund of your purchase price, provided the return is initiated within 30 days of receiving the item.

  • When the 30 days begin: The 30-day return window only starts counting from the exact day you physically receive the item (either the day you pick it up at the festival, or the delivery date confirmed by the shipping carrier).

  • Condition of Items: Products must be returned in their original, unworn, and unwashed condition.

  • Process: To return products, you must email us at changa.records.store@gmail.com to obtain return instructions. For shipped items, you are responsible for all shipping and handling charges on returned goods.

6. Intellectual Property All content included on the Site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the specific product artwork (including designs by Mandalakaos), is the exclusive property of Changa Records or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any such material or artwork without our express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability In no event shall we be liable to you or any third party for consequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages arising out of, or relating to, any breach of these terms. Our sole and entire maximum liability shall be limited to the actual amount paid by you for the products you have ordered through our Site.

8. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
